Welcome to April Sound!

April Sound is a premier gated community on the southern shore of beautiful Lake Conroe in Montgomery County, Texas. Although our subdivision was originally conceived as a weekend retreat, April Sound is rapidly becoming suburbanized. Our residents include business professionals, young families, sports enthusiasts, empty nesters, and individuals seeking the security of a gated community. Currently, we offer a wide spectrum of housing opportunities, ranging from million dollar lakefront and/or golf course homes to single-family homes, townhouses and condominiums.

The April Sound Property Owners Association, Inc. consists of seven elected members of the Board of Trustees which manage our community through volunteer committees and a Professional Community Association Manager. All our property owners are members of the April Sound Property Owners Association which collectively manages over 40 acres if common area, an administrative office, a guardhouse, an access security gate, a marina (with covered boat slips) and three community parks.

The April Sound Civic Association stays active to ensure the community exhibits beautiful landscapes, attractive seasonal boulevard banners and various community social events.

The privately-owned April Sound Country Club provides members access to three 9-hole golf courses, swimming pools, tennis courts and private dining and event facilities.
